Capscare, founded in 1995, is a corporation established under the laws of the State of Florida.
Currently, CAPSCARE Academy for Healthcare Education operates as a For-Profit Institution, although most of our education partnerships are with non-profit organizations.
CAPSCARE University operates as a non-profit institution and currently offers Continuing Education Units (CEUs) exclusively.
We take pride in being one of the pioneering private vocational schools authorized by the Commission for Independent Education under the Florida Board of Education, commencing in the year 2000.
In that same year, Capscare Academy for Healthcare Education was officially established and licensed to provide training by the Commission for Independent Education, a division of the Florida Department of Education.
Our school began offering courses in various healthcare fields, including:
Phlebotomy Technician
Certified Nursing Assistant
Patient Care Assistant
Home Health Aide
Between 2009 and 2013, we introduced the Practical Nurse Program.
In 2020, we obtained approval for our RN to BSN program, which operates as a fully online program.
In 2013, we introduced the ASN degree program, which underwent a restructuring in March 2023, guided by our new President and Director, as we prepare for the next phase of growth for our institution.
From 1995 to 2022, our President played a pivotal role in developing and implementing the Bethesda Hospitals Nursing Program (now known as Baptist Health) and assisted institutions like HCI in Palm Beach County in transitioning from paramedic schools to reputable nursing schools.
As we enter 2023, we are excited about the prospect of collaborating with clinics, hospitals, doctor's offices, healthcare agencies, and networks throughout South Florida, furthering our commitment to healthcare education and the broader healthcare community.
