This is NOT an accelerated program.
Portions of each credit hour for theory and simulation may be done virtually. To receive FULL credit for each class after the prerequisites also known as the General Education Courses, students must spend a certain amount of time ON campus each semester. (Full and Part Time schedules differ)
Students who complete General Education with CAPSCARE Academy for Health Care Education will be chosen before students who do their entire general education load at other schools. Nursing Courses from other schools will not be accepted.
The ATI TEAS Entrance Test is mandatory and only given after the general education courses are complete and verified.
A score in the “Proficient” score range is the minimum score acceptable. We do not accept entrance tests from other institutions.
General Education Credits expire after five years.
The CAPSCARE Academy for Health Care Education Is an Approved Nursing Program through the Florida Board of Nursing. Upon successful completion, you will be eligible to sit for the NCLEX exam.
Upon successful completion of ALL requirements, out-of-state students will be required to sit for the Florida Board of Nursing NCLEX exam.
This must be done before attempting to get endorsed by another state.
Each group is called a Cohort. Only twelve students are allowed per cohort.
Scholarships are available but limited.
The length of the program is 24 Months without exception.
Cost per credit hour is 373.00 Cost for Entrance exam is $118.00

Completion of the program constitutes 75 Credit Hours which equals a specific amount of clock hours that can be done in person and virtually.
It is important that you understand we are a traditional brick and mortar school, NOT an online school.
We have a campus and we work with Florida Atlantic University with clinical simulations and other area hospitals through out the state.
